Living on the ocean creates an endless list of things that need to be repaired. It looks like nature has decided to retire the ladders on the dock. I knew they were aging, but it seems that once decay starts, the process goes into overdrive. Here is one of the rungs that broke, fortunately without injury.

I just ordered an aluminum replacement that can be pulled up when not in use to prevent seaweed and barnacle growth. Not cheap, but it should serve the purpose.
